Valorant moves 0.07 degrees per count at sens 1. Overwatch 2 crawls at 0.0066. That tenfold gap is why Valorant players run 0.2 to 0.6 while Overwatch 2 players sit at 3 to 10 on the same 800 DPI. Take your value from Settings, General, then drop the result into Horizontal Sensitivity under Options, Controls. The 10.6 math and any DPI correction happen for you.

A 4.242 looks nothing like a 0.4, yet both sweep the identical distance for a full turn, so set it by that and let eDPI fall where it wants. Your hand learns nothing new. If the bigger number rattles you, run it in the Practice Range first, then nudge by a tenth only after a full session.
