Privacy Policy

RigPolice is built to be private by default. You don't need an account, we don't run a login, and you don't hand over personal data to use any tool. The tests run in your browser. A few scored tools send us the final score to build anonymous statistics, and the CPS Test adds whether you clicked left or right. Nothing else about your run reaches us.

Analytics

We measure aggregate traffic with Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool. It is cookieless and does not track you across sites or build a profile of you. It does not collect or store any personal data, and nothing it records can be used to identify you. We use it only to see which pages and tools are popular.

Anonymous result statistics

Some scored tools, right now the Reaction Time Test, the 5-second CPS Test, the 60-second Typing Speed Test and a full 60-second Aim Trainer run, send us two things when a run completes: the tool name and the score. The CPS Test adds a third, the mouse button you clicked, so left and right click scores stay separate, and the Aim Trainer adds the mode you played. Your sensitivity, DPI and game are never sent. We keep no IP address, set no cookie and take no device fingerprint with any of it, so a result can't be tied to you. We use these results only to work out how a score compares to everyone else's. If the request is blocked, the tool works exactly the same.

Stored in your browser

The Typing Speed Test saves your best score and your last 30 runs for each run length in your browser's local storage. The CPS Test does the same for each mouse button and window. The Aim Trainer keeps your best kills and your last 30 runs for each mode, the APM Test your best average APM per run length plus the last 30 runs of each, and the 10-Key KPH Test your best KPH and your last 30 runs. That's how each of these can tell you when you beat your best and which way your recent runs are heading. The Internet Speed Test (with its jitter and bufferbloat pages), Packet Loss Test and Internet Stability Test keep the date, time and result of your last 10 runs. The Controller Drift Test, with its PS5, Xbox and Switch pages, does the same for each controller model, filed under the model name your browser reports, never a serial number, so it can tell you whether drift rose or fell since your earlier runs. The Double-Click Test keeps the same log for each mouse button, built from the first 100 clicks of a run, so it can tell you whether chatter rose or fell. Those runs never leave your device, and clearing this site's data removes them. A tool embedded on another site saves nothing.

Cookies

RigPolice does not use cookies for advertising or tracking. The only cookie the site may rely on is cf-country, a country code set by our content-delivery provider (Cloudflare). It is used solely to send you to the correct regional store when you click an affiliate link - it holds no personal information.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links to gear are affiliate links. When you click one, we record an anonymous event - which product, which placement - and you pass through a redirect on our domain (for example /go/razer/deathadder-v3-pro/in-content/) that forwards you to the retailer. We do not collect personal data in this step. Full details are in our Affiliate Disclosure.

Contact form

Using a tool never requires personal data, but reaching out does. If you choose to send us a message through the contact form, the name, email and message you type are delivered by Web3Forms, a third-party form processor, so we can read it and reply. We only use it to answer you.

Third-party sites

When you follow a link to a retailer or other external site, that site's own privacy policy applies. We have no control over how third parties handle your data.

Changes & contact

We may update this policy as the site evolves; the version you are reading is always the current one. Questions about your privacy? Email us at contact@rigpolice.com.
