Convert Fortnite sensitivity to CS:GO

Coming to CS:GO from Fortnite, a 0.07 becomes 1.768 at 800 DPI. CS:GO runs the same 0.022 yaw Counter-Strike has used for years, so the value that lands here is the value CS2 wants too. The physical turn stays at 29.4 cm.

Fortnite to CS:GO sensitivity: one value covers both Counter-Strikes

CS:GO measures rotation on the Source scale, 0.022 degrees per mouse count, against Fortnite at 0.5555. The converter multiplies by 25.25 when both DPI settings match and adjusts when they do not. If you already keep a CS2 config, paste the same figure into it and skip a second conversion, because the two share a scale exactly.

The eDPI numbers drift apart and that is expected. 56 in Fortnite, about 1414 in CS:GO, same arc under your hand. Judge the move by cm/360 alone, since it is the only quantity that means the same thing in both games.

Set it with the console command sensitivity 1.768, or through the mouse page in Settings. Fortnite players usually find crosshair placement the harder adjustment, because CS:GO expects the dot parked at head height down a lane rather than swinging with a build. The number is done; the habit takes a week.

FAQ

How do you convert Fortnite sensitivity to CS:GO?
Multiply your Fortnite sensitivity by 25.25 when the DPI stays the same. The converter does this for you and also adjusts if your DPI differs between the two games.
Does my DPI have to match in both games?
No. Enter your Fortnite DPI and your CS:GO DPI separately. The converter holds your cm/360 fixed whatever they are, so a different DPI or a new mouse never forces you to relearn your aim.
Will my eDPI be the same in CS:GO?
No. At 800 DPI your Fortnite settings sit at an eDPI of 56, and the matched CS:GO sensitivity lands at an eDPI of about 1414, a different number for the same physical turn. The two scales never line up, so read cm/360, not eDPI.
